Why a movie?  Because there is nothing as engaging as the moving image.  “How to Prepare for a Midwinter Soup Frenzy” captures the inherent drama, danger, and excitement of the soup preparation required of a Midwinter Soup Frenzy.  It was recently named an official selection of the 5th Annual NYC Food Film Festival.  Some consider the film maker, Simon Friedman, to be the “Scorsese of Soup.”   Others, not so much.
